I run this site as a side project while researching email marketing tools for my own newsletters.
How these reviews are made
The comparisons on this site are based on the vendors' public pricing pages, feature documentation and terms, checked in August 2026. Where a claim is a number I saw on a pricing page, I link to that page so you can verify it yourself.
I've registered a free Kit account and taken screenshots of the dashboard — you can see them on the homepage. I'll keep adding first-hand notes to each article as I test further, and update the "Last updated" dates to match.
What I look at
- Pricing: what you really pay, including hidden fees and cuts on paid subscriptions.
- Ownership: can you export your subscribers and leave whenever you want?
- Features that matter to creators: forms, automations, monetization — not marketing jargon.
- Trade-offs: every tool has them; I try to say plainly what they are.
